I coordinate the calculus sequence at Michigan State University. This involves a blend of instructional and administrative tasks. In addition, I always say yes to more teaching and really enjoy working with students. I have made several series of instructional videos for the calculus sequence and pour as much as I can into my classes to help my students succeed. I also love technology and a bit of programming. I have authored hundreds of WeBWorK problems, written elaborate Python scripts for grade calculations, and Google App Scripts for regular communication with students and instructors.

I have been happily married for nearly five years now to my wife Kelsey. We have two cats, Ceres and Crookshanks are both the best (but Ceres a bit more). Some of my hobbies include:

  • Playing board games
  • Playing really nerdy board games
  • Ultimate Frisbee
  • Bowling
  • Laser Tag
  • Jigsaw Puzzles
  • Too much traveling

My wife and I enjoy fostering cats, watching all of the Netflix, and listening to NPR. We especially enjoy This American Life, The Moth, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, and Ask Me Another.
